Tyler
Tyler folded his hands while leaning on a forest tree. He could see off in the distance of the commander of the great vampire clan was speaking with a small elf. Curiosity struck him as he tried to piece together their conversation based off of their lip movements. Keres looked shocked. Whatever the elf had sprang on her must have not been what she was expecting to hear. Tyler voted now with his opportunity to spring in and make the already uncomfortable seem even more awkward.
Quickly using his vampire speed, he darted in and out of the trees until finally he was standing right behind the elf. His wicked smile breathed down the elf's neck as he stared at the back of her head. The small breeze brushed against the lady's hair. He could see the elf tense up slightly.
"Hey there ladies. Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Tyler could tell, that that's exactly what he had just done.

Velan
"Don't take any of that personally, Valen. I've known the guy for years and he's always been that way..." Jev shrugged. "I haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been?"
"i've just been wandering around, doing this and that. I'm thinking that the vampires may be able to make use of me though, and I wouldn't mind getting to know them better, would you help me with that? I know you're pretty friendly with that Vetagorn, the second in command".
Velan wondered if Jev would ever try and help her, but she had decided that it was worth a try to get in with the vampires. She would be of more use to them than anyone else within the area.
Devin
Devin really didn't want to tell Atkin anything that would help him get on their side. But he knew he had to tell them something, so he went with the truth. "Keres made the decision she did to try and help. She knows that we are not yet ready to fight AlaBestiam yet, but I think she wants to soon. But we need to be a unit, and the only way she could think of getting everyone to be on the same side was to do this. She likes the sacrifice ritual as much as you guys. She hates that it has to be done but she has no other options."
He hoped that they wouldn't question it too much.
Keres
"I'm not sure Evangeline, I can't say that you were or were not the child that we took. Let me talk to Vetagorn and I'll get back to you." Keres said sadly to Evangeline.
"Hey there ladies. Hope I'm not interrupting anything." Tyler interrupted.
"Hi there Tyler. Of course you're interrupting something, you always are." She replied. She needed to see Vetagorn and Tyler was just getting in the way. "I'm terribly sorry, but I need to speak with Vetagorn, and I don't want you talking to my new friend Evangeline here." Keres escorted Evangeline away from Tyler and walked her over to the bar were the other creatures were standing waiting for her return by the looks of it. She also noticed that Devin was hanging around with some of the mysticals like she had instructed him to do.
She was happy to see that. At least one of her clan members was were they should be...
Tenna
Tenna crawled from his hiding space and hoped that none of the creatures around would hear him. He needed to get the bright steel material to the cave to be able to manufacture it. He wanted to be able to get away but he knew that his escape would be a close one. He was hoping that the material wouldn't clang together as he walked, but he knew that would be near impossible.
Tenna's bag suddenly made a ripping sound and all the material clanged and banged together. He had hoped the vampires were far enough away that they hadn't heard him...

Tyler
"Alright, see ya later Commander!" he shouted to the girls as they walked away annoyed. Tyler smiled, amused with himself. The Commander will probably tell Vetagorn later and no doubt will have to do some kind of bothersome duty to make up for his annoyance. But it was well worth it. Shrugging, he spun on the back of his heel and wandered further into the woods making sure to stay within the shade. As he ventured further in, he caught ear of a faint noise in the distance. The noise sounded like steel. Curiosity took hold of Tyler once more. Looking over his shoulder, he focused his vampire senses on the noise.
"Alright then, whoever you are, you now have my curiosity," he breathed. Swiftly, he turned and headed near the sounds of metal. He hide behind a tree when he spotted a Minotaur shoving scrapes of metal into a ripped bag. Tyler scoffed at the sight and revealed himself.
"Hello there. Something tells me you're not permitted to be carrying all that steel with you." Tyler was teasing the Minotaur. It was against the law to be carrying all that without permission. He noticed the Minotaur grow nervous. "Well, since I've caught you red-handed, and I'm in a very reckless mood today, seems like I shall have to carry out the punishment for such crime." He paused and pretended to care, "There, there.. No need to say anything more. Let me see, if I'm not mistaken, the punishment for stealing all this material is... death." A devilish smile peeled it's way onto Tyler's face as he saw the horror in the Minotaur's eyes.
Below the scared mystical's feet, the steel slowly floated in thin air. The sunlight reflected on the sharp objects before the Minotaur. Tyler was using his telekinesis to make the objects float. The steel began to circle the Minotaur. Faster and faster they spun as the beast began to feel dizzy. Tyler laughed as he saw the helpless animal struggle. He raised his hands to command the steel to stop abruptly and point right at the Minotaur.
Tyler sighed, "Sorry friend, but this is it for you..."
Red liquid painted the earth floor that afternoon. Tyler was no where to be seen.
OOC: i was given permission to kill trenna. thanks tiger!

Vetagorn
The mysticals all near the bar were gathering around Devin. Vetagorn noticed how hesitant they were around him. He wondered what Devin was doing. Maybe it could be a Keres plot since he hadn't seen the two together recently. Whatever the case, Vet knew Layla was also constructing her own plan with Dando de Sangue. Seemed like the whole group of mysticals she was surrounded by were up to the same plan.
Vetagorn closed his eyes and recalled on this morning with Layla. Her beauty, her voice and even her touch made him melt inside. As he started to be swept away by his day dream, a familiar scent lingered past him. Vet shot his eyes open and looked around. It was the smell of blood. Lots of blood. His eyes grew dark and his fangs began to throb. One last time, he glanced back at the group before running off towards the scent.
It was too long before he happened upon a dead minotaur. Whatever the beast was stabbed with was also missing. Vet knew he had to clean this mess up before anyone else happened upon the body. With all the chaos about Dando de Sangue going on, this was only another reason for all mysticals to either turn on one another or worse, the vampires completely.
Quickly but gently, he moved the body into a hole and began to fill it in. Once the hole was covered, Vet took a moment of silence in respect for the creature. He didn't know the animal personally, but knew the beast was called Trenna. Unfortunately, Trenna did not have any family in the valley. No one would know of his death. After the moment, Vet ran back over towards the large blood stain only to see that Tyler was there, washing it off of the earth. Vetagorn cautiously approached.
"Tyler, what the hell are you doing here?"
Jev
"I've just been wandering around, doing this and that. I'm thinking that the vampires may be able to make use of me though, and I wouldn't mind getting to know them better, would you help me with that? I know you're pretty friendly with that Vetagorn, the second in command," Valen had said.
Jev smiled a restless smile. He knew the answer even before she had finished asking her question. "Seems to me a lot of people these days are asking me to use Vet.." he laughed softly. "Listen Valen, with Vetagorn, it's a different story. The guy does what he wants to do and is very old school. Just now before you showed up I was trying to get information about Dando de Sangue. And that didn't go down..." He shrugged and rolled his eyes. Leaning back against a tree, he glanced at Valen and saw how much it would mean to her if she was to be accepted by the vampire group.
Jev rubbed his temples and spoke, "I'll see what I can do. Just promise me, you won't get your hopes up. It is Vetagorn we're talking about here."
Atkin & Layla
"Keres made the decision she did to try and help. She knows that we are not yet ready to fight AlaBestiam yet, but I think she wants to soon. But we need to be a unit, and the only way she could think of getting everyone to be on the same side was to do this. She likes the sacrifice ritual as much as you guys. She hates that it has to be done but she has no other options," answered Devin.
Layla bit her lip and walked back next to Atkin while in thought. Atkin looked up at his witch friend and could see that her doubt she once had was slowly disappearing. Atkin stood up on his four paws and spoke to the group.
"Look guys, here's the thing... Yes, Devin was in relations with Keres but at the moment, he seems to be on our side. I say we use that to our advantage!" He paused and looked over at Devin, "No offense, but your friendship could prove worth to our survival." He tried to offer a friendly smile. Layla sighed in defeat.
"I don't agree with you Atkin. However, my kind nature is getting the better of me." She moved her gaze over towards Devin once more. "I'll have my eye on you. Don't you think you can slip one by us! Or I'll.... Turn you into a toad!" She knew her threat was false. Layla didn't have that sort of power. But it didn't hurt to act tough. Atkin rolled his eyes at the sound of her threat.
"Alright then, the sun is already setting. The day has flown by. I say we go on a hunt!" He looked back at his two friends, Vi and Penelope. "How bout it guys?"

Tyler
Tyler lurked in the shadows of the forest when Vetagorn arrived at the scene. Of course he would be the first to come. He watched as Vet handled everything respectfully. Tyler rolled his eyes annoyed that his rebellious act was being covered up so soon! He walked out of hiding over to the stain on the floor. Such a mess, he thought to himself. Using his shoe, he began covering up the red patch with dirt. Vetagorn appeared once again, this time anger hinted in his voice.
"Tyler, what the hell are you doing here?"
Tyler smiled playfully. He knew that was a trick question. It was no surprise that this was his doing. He playfully rolled his eyes and head. "Come on, Vet. Be thankful I'm here helping out with the clean up..." He paused and scratched under his chin for a moment in thought, "Though this would've been a lot more interesting had you not been the first to show up." He looked back towards his second in command and smiled a cheerful smile, "Oh well!"
Tyler felt nothing when it came to what he had just done. Nor did he fear any sort of punishment. He knew what Vetagorn was going to do about this circumstance even before he showed up to the scene. He would get a simple slap on the wrist and would be closely watched for the next month or so. Being babysat had it's downside... He would be on a tight leash and would only be allowed out under strict orders from leaders of the clan.
When the stain had been covered, Tyler moved a small bush to the side, revealing all the steel the Minotaur had stolen. "Lookie what I found! This big guy was hauling it around without permission." He felt pleased with himself a smiled a cocky grin.

Penelope & Vi
Penelope listened quietly as the half-vampire spoke. His argument didn’t convince her in the least, and by the look of the hairs raised on Vi’s back, she wasn’t convinced either. Penelope touch the lynx’ mind, calming her. She looked Devin up and down as he spoke of Keres hating the ritual and internally scoffed. Penelope could feel the tension starting to build in she shoulders, she didn’t trust him one bit. It wasn’t completely his fault, Penelope trusted very very few people. It took time to gain her faith and she rarely gave anyone a chance. She felt slightly relieved when Layla voiced her discontent but, then again, Layla had arrived earlier escorted by the vampires' second in command. "Alright then, the sun is already setting. The day has flown by. I say we go on a hunt!" Atkin looked back at his two friends, Vi and Penelope. "How bout it guys?" Vi’s ears perked at the word "hunt" and Penelope tried not to smile at her companion. She wasn’t about to let her guard down. “Sounds like exactly the stress reliever we need.” Penelope responded, eyebrows raised, still eyeing Devin. She hoped her tone displayed the distrust she never truly voiced and the threat that was evident if he wasn’t being honest with the group. Penelope silently instructed Vi to keep a close watch on the vampire as the group began to spread out. Tucking a piece of loose blonde hair back into her braid she approached Layla. She locked her gray eyes onto Layla’s brown eyes, searching them as she asked, “Why was that vampire with you earlier?” She had felt comfortable with the witch before but before their camaraderie continued she needed answers.

Layla & Atkin
“Why was that vampire with you earlier?” asked Penelope. A jolt surged through Layla as she realized she had just given Devin a hard time for being associated with a Vampire. And here she was, escorted earlier this morning by Vetagorn, the second in command. Layla rubbed her forehead, understanding what Penelope was saying.
"That was Vetagorn, the second in command." She sighed and met Penelope's eyes with truth, "Last night I went out in search of him. The next thing I remember is waking up with him standing by my side." She glanced towards the floor, understanding that her statement sounded a tad bit promiscuous. "I talked to him briefly before he had to go off in search of his commander." Layla had completely forgotten to fill everyone in on the details she had gathered from the vampire. With everything that Evangeline had said earlier and then Devin suddenly showing up, it had slipped her mind. "All I got was that Keres issued the change in plans for the good of the mountain. She is hoping to bring peace to all. And Vetagorn is loyal." She hopped her answer was good enough.
Atkin stood on his four paws, sinking his claws deep into the dirt while anxiously awaiting the go ahead from everyone that the hunt was on.
"Sounds like exactly the stress reliever we need.” Penelope responded. Atkin shook his fur eagerly, shooting his head back to release a haunting howl. He glanced down at Vi and smiled. The hunt was on!
Vetagorn
"Lookie what I found! This big guy was hauling it around without permission." Tyler said while smiling a cocky grin. Vetagorn saw what Tyler had pointed to. There, hidden in the bush, was a large amount of steel.
"You mean, you killed this guy for this?" Vet asked confused. Letting Tyler out of site for a long period of time always proved to be a poor choice. But with everything going on, it was hard to keep tabs. "Tyler..." he sighed. Vetagorn has known Tyler over 80 years now. Never had any lecture the commanders have gave ever worked. Vet decided to save his breath.
Angrily, Vet slapped the bush from Tyler's hands. "I'm not going to be telling Keres about this." He knew if he was to keep this under wraps from Keres it would not only save her from more stress she didn't need, but would also harm any attempt Tyler was making to drive the commander crazy. "You're going to pick up all this steal and hide it at the bottom of the river. Now!" Vetagorn was not in a mood to play babysitter today. He fought to keep his frustration inside.

Tyler
Tyler smiled sarcastically and rolled his eyes when Vet gave the order to dispose of the steel. He used his mind to make all the shards float in mid air. He could see Vet stare at the floating metals with amusement. The two vampires walked over towards the flowing river. Tyler made sure the shards were fully sunken beneath the current and at the bottom of the river.
"There. You happy?" Tyler knew Vetagorn was going to have him on a tight leash. But with Vet not exposing what had happened today to Keres, made Tyler feel a bit annoyed. "So you ain't going to be telling Keres, huh?" What was he going to have to do to get noticed around here? "No matter. I'll still have my fun..." he said while walking backwards, away from Vetagorn. He could see the second in command grow frustrated. "I know you don't have time to deal with me, so I'll do you a favor and just be on my way!" And before Vet could say or move, Tyler used his vampire speed to disappear.
The sun started to fall from the sky casting a pink tone over the forest. Tyler sat up in a large tree over looking the whole area. He could hear the sounds of birds as they flew over head. He tossed the idea of going to the bar back and forth in his mind, finally deciding to remain where he was for the night. He figured Keres would make her way down there and wasn't in the mood for a brief lecture about today's rude interruption with the elf. He leaned his head softly back against the tree and began to drift off into a light sleep.

Vetagorn
Vetagorn watched as Tyler disappeared. He didn't bother chasing after the vampire. Right now he needed to focus on finding Keres and making sure his Commander was safe. Before he set off into the forest, he glanced behind him at the hidden scene. Tyler was a wild one, that's for sure. He made a mental note as soon as things died down with Dando de Sangue, he would hold Tyler accountable for his actions.
It didn't take long before he came towards the mountain and spotted the bar from above. He made his way up the hill and entered the bar. There behind the counter he spotted a goblin who, despite the stereotype, was actually quiet friendly. He knew Layla would bring him on when she wasn't planning on working the night. Goblins had a tad bit of magic but nothing compares to Layla's magical drinks. He took a seat at the bar.
"I'll have whatever you're cooking already Griff," Vet said to the goblin Griff. Griff jumped down from his stool and poured a green substance into a glass and tossed it down the bar table. Vet caught it with one hand. Eyeing the contents inside the glass, Vet decided to pretend to drink the drink. It seemed questionable. He sighed slightly and pressed down on the glass. Down the other end of the bar he could hear Kere's voice. Leaning back, he spotted his commander near an elf.
He walked up towards her and placed a hand gently on her shoulder while leaning in to speak.
"And how is my Commander this fine evening?"
